The colors, the lighting, the ADORABLE MAN! (werewolf...guy)
My favorite part has to be the hands, definately, but I also adore the background. It has enough detail in it to let you know *where* he is (castle window, old bookshelves) which sets the scene very nicely without drawing attention away from the subject of the picture. I always look for backgrounds in images (especially since I tend to be very lazy when it comes to them) and you have a perfect balance in yours. Kudos, kudos.

Vita Brevis, Ars Longa
This pic was somehow experimental, cause I'm just learning yet how to do this kind of coloring. I'm really glad you like him...

His expression is perfect, as are the streaks of grey in his hair. What I like best about your Lupin is the fact that his eyes look dangerous and therefore form a wonderful contradiction to his usual gentle demeanor.
Another thing are the hands - they could easily be part of a classical painting. Actually, were you inspired by one of them?
Finally, the Grindylows: she isn't only talented, she's got imagination as well! Love your version of them
May I ask what kind of medium you use to colour your pictures? I'm always curious about those things
Really, all this time I've been searching for the "perfect" Lupin who fit the one I had in my head while reading. I've finally found him and thank you for sharing this masterpiece
P.S. Needless to say that this is going to my favourites, is it?
